Duties: 

Supervise and co-ordinate the work of all cleaning staff.

Inspect sites or facilities to ensure established safety and cleanliness standards are met.

Recommend or arrange for additional services required such as painting, repair work, renovations or replacement of furnishings and equipment.

Maintain 100% commitment to a safe environment and positive customer experience.

Hire and train cleaning and housekeeping staff.

Co-ordinate activities with those of other departments and schedule housekeeping assignments for optimum efficiency.

Establish, implement and optimize cleaning and maintenance procedures.

Prepare budget, estimate costs and keep financial records.

Assist cleaners in performing duties, may need to perform some light maintenance work.
