Mexican Amigos is seeking a Mexican Chef to manage its kitchen
Mexican Amigos has entered its 8th year in business and is as busiest as its ever been. We are seeking a reliable Mexican Chef. A Chef is someone who is responsible for the overall operations in the back of the house. The chef will be:
- experienced with Mexican cuisine
- training kitchen staff on proper food preparation
- making sure food looks good, cooked properly, proportions are correct and served quickly
- ensuring that kitchen is properly cleaned on a regular schedule & meets all sanitary standards
- keeping food consistent, while working in a very fast pace environment
- has 3 years to less than 5 years experience as a chef
- able to supervise 5-10 people
- working in a fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling
- possess an effective interpersonal skill, flexibility, organized, dependability, reliability
