Bookkeeper – NOC 1311
We at 0973418 BC dba Ikon Kustoms Ltd. located at #103-15685 Fraser Highway, Surrey, BC. are looking to hire one (1) bookkeeper on permanent and full-time basis.
The Bookkeeper will have to perform the following duties:
Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance of books, maintain general ledgers and prepare financial statements
Post journal entries, Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, Prepare trial balance of books, Calculate fixed assets and depreciation, Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, Prepare tax returns, Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, Reconcile accounts, Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
Wage offered is $25.00 per hour, 30 hours per week. The employee will be entitled to 10 days of vacation time per year.
Requirements:
Completion of secondary school is required.
Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field or Completion of two years (first level) of a recognized professional accounting program (e.g., Chartered Accounting, Certified General Accounting) or Courses in accounting or bookkeeping combined with several years of experience as a financial or accounting clerk are required.
Minimum one year experience is required.
