Night Clerk Supervisor – Hotel (NOC 6313)

Employer: Golden Village Inn Inc Dba Golden Village Lodge

Job Location: 1439 Lafontaine RD, Golden, BC, V0A 1H3

Salary: $22.00 Per hour

Hours: 40 per week

Language: English

Terms of employment: Full Time/Permanent

Education: High School

Skills: Completion of a two-year apprenticeship program, or a college program in front desk operations or hotel management is an asset.

Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in relevant field

Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Duties:

• Co-ordinate, assign and review the work of hotel accommodation services clerks, reservation clerks and other travel and accommodations workers
• Establish work schedules and procedures and co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
• Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports
• Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
• Requisition supplies and materials
• Ensure smooth operation of computer systems, equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work
• May perform the same duties as workers supervised.
