Job Description

is currently hiring one store manager.

Job Duties

• Manage overall day to day operations of the store. Completes store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results

• Daily cash management, cash balancing, cash floats, safe floats, change orders and bank deposits

• Daily, Weekly, Monthly paperwork to all be in order and appropriate reports be sent to director

• Control inventory, which involves regularly counting all product on hand and in storage, analyzing sales and traffic trends, and then basing future orders off forecasts made from this information

• Ensure their employees keep product restocked on shelves and that the sales area is kept clean and customer-friendly

• Ensures enough staff on at all times to provide fast and effective service, generating the maximum possible revenue, monitor staff to ensure upselling is occurring monitors stock, promotions and event to ensure accuracy and appropriateness

• Maintain a mature and professional work environment

• Provide great customer service and best level of service, gain customer feedback, ensures the store is kept organize, clean and welcoming, enforce staff to provide exceptional customer service on a daily basis

• Hiring, leadership and development of store staff in excellent customer service

• Ordering and maintaining all product levels for the store

• Maintain and monitor inventory and product sales. Maintain inventory by implementing purchasing plans and staying in contact with vendors and shippers

• Staffing issues which includes working with and training employees, scheduling, preparing, delegating or working with staff directly to ensure each task is completed in a timely manner and being the go between for staff and Management to relay messages as they are needed;

• Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses

• Conduct market researches to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitor’s operations on sales

• Adhering to all safety procedures in the performance of job duties. Strictly enforcing the safety procedures regarding COVID-19 pandemic

Employment requirements

Languages: Must have excellent communication skills in Oral and Written English

Education: High School is mandatory. Any post secondary education such as college diploma or university degree will be an asset

Experience: 2-3 years of retail sales experience with at least 1 year of experience as supervisory or managerial role is required

Ability to Supervise: 5-10 people

Benefits

Position is entitled to benefits as per BC Employment standards act. As per mutual agreement, 4% Vacation pay of gross salary will be paid each pay period with 10 days of unpaid vacation annual, or the option to choose 10 days of paid vacation annually with no vacation pay on each pay period.
