Our company is looking for one (1) Office Administrator who will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office personnel. The Office Administrator’s role will include working closely with our leadership team by handling clerical duties, coordinating calendars, and organizing meetings.

Job description:


Great West Disposal Inc is well established company based in Surrey, British Columbia providing their client its services since 1993. Our company is looking for one (1) Office Administrator who will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office personnel. The Office Administrator’s role will include working closely with our leadership team by handling clerical duties, coordinating calendars, and organizing meetings.

Position: Office Administrator (NOC Code 1221)

Terms of Employment: Full time, permanent

Wages: $26.50/hr for 40 hr/week +4% vacation pay

Work Location: 7800 Anvil Way, Surrey, British Columbia – V3W 4H7.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Completion of Secondary School is required. Any further higher education would be an asset.
  • 1-2 year of experience in related field is required
  • Basic knowledge of English Language
  • Basic Knowledge of computers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assign work to other office staff and make sure work in done in desired timeframe.
  • Look after, review and update companies procedures and plocies.
  • Prepare all data report on monthly basis and submit to the designated personnel.
  • Manager and oversee all administrative work.
  • Answer calls and respond to mail and e-mails.
  • Overseeing the maintenance of office facilities, and equipment.
  • Asist in preparation of budget.
  • Assemble data and manage the filling and paperwork.
  • Maintain digital filing system.
  • Purchasing office supplies, equipment, and furniture.
  • Perform other relevant duties as required.

Essential Skills:

Task oriented, Computer skills, Time management capabilities are required.
