Job description:

Main Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Write and review code for sites, typically HTML, XML, or JavaScript;
• Collaborating with team members to determine the website's layout, content, and design;
• Integrating graphics, audio, and video into the website;
• Builds, designs, and maintains all websites and software applications;
• Develop well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices;
• Manage back-end and front-end of the websites and work with graphics and other designers;
• Gather & refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs;
• Create and maintain software documentation;
• Monitoring website traffic and making adjustments;
• Back up files from Web sites to local directories for recovery;
• Troubleshoot problems with performance or user experience;
• Stay up-to-date on technology;
• Determine user needs by analyzing technical requirements.

Qualification & Skills:

• College /CEGEP in computer applications is required
• 3 to 5 years of experience in relevant role, experience in Graphics design is required
• Proficient in English language for both written and verbal communication
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other relevant web design coding languages
• Ability to write and edit technical documentation
• Possess knowledge and experience in programming language & applications
• Dedicated team player and ability to thrive in face paced work setting
• Convergent thinker, must try to synthesize information and knowledge to achieve a solution related to the situation
