Job description:
Edalica Metal Services Ltd. located at 90 Hedgedale Road, Brampton, Ontario L6T 5L2 requires 2 Welders for the Night Shift on a Permanent, Full-time basis. Wage: $ 36 per hour for a minimum of 30 hours per week. Additionally, 10 paid vacation days and 10 days sick leave will be provided. 2 years to 3 years’ experience is required.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints in order to assemble and weld complex weldments accordingly.
- Set up MIG welding machine according to the task and perform daily maintenance to keep machine running smoothly.
- Perform MIG welding on both light gauge and heavy plate in steel, stainless and aluminum.
- Operate grinders, torches, cutting tools, and other fabrication equipment.
- Inspect materials and finished products to maintain high quality standards.
- Deburr using grinders and other abrasives as necessary to achieve smooth, clean and level finish.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area following industry safety regulations
- All other relevant tasks.
