Day, Morning, Evening, Night, Weekend
Early morning, shift work, and on-call availability may be required

Job Summary

A private household in Brampton is seeking a responsible and caring Home Child Care Provider to provide attentive, nurturing, and safe care for children in the employer’s home. The successful candidate will support children’s daily needs, development, and emotional well-being in accordance with parental guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, nurturing care ensuring the child’s safety at all times.
• Prepare and serve age-appropriate meals and snacks.
• Assist with daily routines, including diaper changes and potty-training support.
• Plan and engage the child in educational play and developmental activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe home environment for the child.
• Establish and follow consistent nap and sleep schedules.
• Support the child’s emotional development through positive interaction and reassurance.
• Monitor the child’s behaviors, milestones, and report progress to parents.
• Take the child outdoors for supervised walks and recreational activities.
• Teach basic social, language, and motor skills appropriate for the child’s age. 

Job Requirements

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

• 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant child care experience

• Ability to communicate effectively in English

Work Conditions

• On-site position only (no remote work option)

• Physically present in the employer’s private residence
