Private household at 32 Heriot Place, Maple, ON L6A 4Z6 is looking for a Child Caregiver-Private home. Please see the following employment information.
Job Duties:
- Maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment for children.
- Prepare nutritional food and snack selections for children.
- Plan and supervise structured educational activities and playtime.
- Maintain professional and positive relationships with parents and children.
- Promote children's emotional and social development, understanding of others and self-actualization.
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
- Keep up-to-date records of the child’s development, routines, and interests.
- May Perform light housekeeping tasks upon request.
- When necessary, administer first-aid or CPR to children.
Job Summary:
- The employee is required to be flexible to cover shifts, some weekends. Overtime may be required. Hours will vary from day, night and evenings.
- Salary: $22 per hour, 30 hours per week
- Work Site Environment: Non-smoking, Scent-free
- Work Location: Must work in employer's/client’s home
- Employment Expected to Start on: As Soon As Possible
Requirements:
- Completion of Secondary (High) School education is required
- Previous experience in the same field and/or previous full-time training in the field will be an asset
- First Aid Certificate; CPR Certificate would be an asset
- Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English
