Golden Star Daycare in North Vancouver, BC is seeking qualified Early Childhood Educator
Job Position: Early Childhood Educator, Permanent, Full-time
Work Location: 829 15th Street W suite 101 North Vancouver, BC V7P 1M5
Wages and working hours: $23.50 per hour, 30~40 hours per week
Requirement:
- Early Childhood Education college Diploma
- Valid BC Early Childhood Educator License
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Good communication skills in English
Main Responsibilities:
Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children
Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
Educate children to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity, storytelling
Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioural problems and prepare reports for parents or guardians
Attend staff meeting and discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings
Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children
