We are looking for a Home Support Worker.
The Home Support Worker will provide care and assistance to a non-verbal intellectual disability in a private household.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Assisting with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting as required
- Supporting structured daily routines and activities that promote stability and well-being
- Assisting with mobility and ensuring safe transfers
- Assisting with range-of-motion (ROM) exercises as directed by healthcare professionals
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Monitoring the safety and well-being of the individual in care
- Supporting communication through assistive or speech devices when required
- Encouraging independence while providing guidance and supervision
- Assisting with behavior management strategies as directed by healthcare professionals
- Performing light housekeeping duties related to caregiving, including meal preparation, laundry, and maintaining a
- Clean and safe environment
- Reporting any changes in health, behavior, or overall condition to the family

Requirements
- Personal support worker certificate is an asset
- Experience providing care for individuals with non-verbal intellectual disability or special needs is an asset
- Ability to follow care instructions provided by the family
- Patience, reliability and good interpersonal skills
Experience:

Schedule:
•6-hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Salary:
$23.00 per hour
