Job Title:  Bookkeeper (NOC: 12200)

Term of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date of Employment (Approx.): As soon as possible
Wages: $36.60 per hour, 40 hours per week;

Overtime wage: $54.90 after 8 hours/day or 40 hours/week

Benefits: 4% Vacation pay
Work Location: 403B, 7337-137 Street, Surrey, BC, V3W 1A4 (The candidate is required to work on various locations in the lower mainland depending on work project)

Eligibility:

• Education: Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
• Language: English

Job Duties:

• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
• Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
• Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
• Post journal entries
• Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
• Prepare trial balance of books
• Reconcile accounts
