Retail Sales Supervisor – Smoke to Snacks

Job Summary

Smoke to Snacks is seeking a motivated and dependable Retail Sales Supervisor to oversee daily store operations and support retail staff in delivering excellent customer service. The successful candidate will assist with scheduling, staff supervision, inventory control, merchandising, and maintaining smooth day-to-day store operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of retail sales staff and cashiers

• Assign duties and prepare employee work schedules

• Assist customers and resolve complaints or concerns in a professional manner

• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering merchandise and supplies

• Authorize returns, exchanges, and customer payments when required

• Maintain store cleanliness, product displays, and merchandising standards

• Train and support new employees and monitor staff performance

• Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily store operations

• Prepare basic reports related to sales, inventory, and staff activities

• Ensure company policies, procedures, and safety standards are followed

• Support management with general retail and operational tasks

Qualifications

• Completion of secondary school is preferred

• Previous retail, customer service, cashier, or sales experience is an asset

• Supervisory or team leadership experience is considered an asset

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment

• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently

• Basic computer and cash handling skills

Technical Skills

• Point-of-sale (POS) systems

• Cash handling and payment processing

• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge

• Inventory and merchandising support

Work Conditions

• On-site position in a retail store environment

• Standing for extended periods may be required

• Fast-paced work environment with customer interaction

• Evening, weekend, and holiday availability may be required

Job Details

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $24.00–$26.00 per hour

Eligibility Requirement

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Experience

• Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)

• Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

• Supervisory experience: 1 year (preferred)
