Title of position: Caregiver for private home
Candidate is to care for 2 children 17 & 13 years old with neurological conditions (epilepsy, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyslexia)
Duties: Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Take children to and from school and to appointments, Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, Organize activities such as games and outings for children, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Supervise and care for children, Tend to emotional well-being of children, Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens; Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties; Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
Terms of employment: 30 hours/week, permanent, full-time, mornings, day, evening, with overtime if needed
Wages $ 20.85 per hour

Physical Requirements:
The candidate must be able to provide hands-on personal care and assistance with activities of daily living. The candidate must be able to safely assist the clients, who weights45 kg (100 lbs), with physical support as required. The position requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physically demanding caregiving duties throughout the workday. The candidate must also be able to respond appropriately to the client’s changing physical and emotional needs.
