HIRING ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN (NOC 14200)

1 Accounting technician – full time permanent position available to start as soon as possible

Wage: $29.50/ hr. – 30 hours per week (over time paid at $44.25 / hr. after 40 hours per week); 10 days of paid vacation per year.

Requirements:

Education: Completion of High School

Work Experience: 1 year related work experience

Language: English

Tasks:

Process and verify supplier invoices for payment approval.
Prepare and issue payments to vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Maintain accounts payable records and reconcile vendor statements.
Prepare and submit customer invoices for completed construction work and services.
Monitor accounts receivable balances and follow up on outstanding payments.
Process employee payroll, including timesheet verification and payroll deductions.
Record and reconcile payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable transactions in the accounting system.
Prepare financial reports, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation for management review.
