Responsibilities
Tasks
- Direct the planting of trees, gardens and lawns.
- Hire, supervise and schedule staff.
- Organize the planting of trees, gardens and lawns.
- Resolve work problems by providing technical advice to increase the value and functionality of a property.
- Schedule events, programs and activities.
- Schedule work.
- Plan and direct grounds maintenance.
- Plan and estimate labour and materials.
- Organize and direct the construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls.
- Plan, manage and supervise landscape construction work.
- Maintain work records and logs.
- Read blueprints and drawings.
- Repair and maintain equipment.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
