We are seeking an experienced and reliable Plastering Supervisor to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and scheduling workers engaged in plastering, stucco, drywall, finishing, and related construction activities at residential and commercial job sites. The Plastering Supervisor will play a key role in coordinating daily site activities, establishing work methods and schedules, ensuring materials are available, resolving worksite issues, monitoring productivity and quality, training workers, and ensuring compliance with workplace safety requirements. The position requires strong knowledge of plastering and stucco work, demonstrated supervisory experience, the ability to coordinate construction activities, and the ability to work effectively with employees, subcontractors, suppliers, contractors, and customers. Work is performed at active residential and commercial construction sites with a focus on quality, efficiency, safety, and completing projects within established timelines. Work Location: Various job sites in Lower Mainland (BC) as per company’s contracts

Compensation & Benefits
Wage: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour
Overtime and Vacation Pay

If any of the current employees of Main Stucco Ltd. makes a referral that results in a hire, the company will pay $1,000.00 CAD to that employee
Financial assistance for relocation from other cities, provinces, or regions will be provided up to $1,500.00p’ CAD for qualified candidates

Job Responsibilities
• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the daily activities of plasterers, stucco workers, apprentices, helpers, laborers, and related construction workers.
• Plan and organize plastering and stucco work according to project plans, specifications, schedules, and site requirements.
• Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other subcontractors and trades.
• Review drawings and specifications and coordinate the preparation, application, repair, and finishing of plaster and stucco surfaces.
• Inspect work and monitor quality to ensure completed work meets project specifications and company standards.
• Coordinate and requisition required materials, supplies, tools and equipment required for plastering and stucco work.
• Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
• Ensure workers follow health and safety requirements and maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas.
• Recommend personnel actions such as hiring, promotion and other employment-related measures.
• Communicate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, customers, and project representatives regarding progress, scheduling, and site issues.
• Prepare work progress updates, schedules, material requirements, and other reports as required.
• Coordinate minor repairs and maintenance of plaster and stucco work and assist with technical or production issues.
• Perform hands-on plastering or stucco work when required by project needs.
• Recommend personnel actions such as hiring, promotion and other employment-related measures.
• Perform other related duties as required to support project and company operations.

Qualification & Requirements
• Completion of high school
• Completion of a 3 - 4 year apprenticeship program in plastering or a minimum of 2 years of experience in plastering
• Experience supervising or coordinating plastering, stucco, drywall, finishing, or related construction activities.
• Ability to coordinate materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and workers effectively.
• Ability to train and provide direction to workers, apprentices, helpers, and laborers.
• Positive, cooperative and professional attitude
• Effective communication skills
