Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Vacation: 4% of gross wages, included on each paycheque, plus statutory holidays

Duties and responsibilities
- Performing routine lubrication, oil changes and fluid servicing on company dump trucks, heavy transport vehicles and excavation machinery to maintain operational readiness for civil and landscaping contract sites.
- Applying grease and specialized lubricants to high-wear moving parts, including excavator arms, loader buckets, demolition attachments and heavy-equipment linkages exposed to harsh field conditions.
- Checking and replacing engine oil, primary air filters, fuel filters and water separators on diesel equipment during scheduled preventive-maintenance intervals in the yard.
- Monitoring, replenishing and replacing hydraulic fluids, transmission fluids and gear oils required for heavy hydraulic systems of earthmoving and road-construction equipment.
- Assisting with basic tire servicing for site fleet vehicles and light machinery, including monitoring tire pressures, checking for site-debris damage and assisting with tire swaps.
- Helping senior mechanics with minor component replacements, including servicing exhaust sections, radiators and structural wear plates on heavy machinery under direct supervision.
- Operating mobile service trucks to provide on-site lubrication, fueling and preventive-maintenance support at active municipal, roadwork or landscaping project locations.
- Inspecting machinery during routine greasing to identify and report mechanical defects, structural cracks or hydraulic leaks to the shop supervisor or mechanics.
- Maintaining a clean, organized and safe central service bay and ensuring bulk grease pumps, oil-disposal units and fluid inventory are handled safely in accordance with environmental regulations.
- Documenting completed fluid-service tasks, engine hours and grease intervals to assist with tracking maintenance schedules for the construction fleet.
