Location: Markham, ON L3P 3A6
Salary: $18.25 hourly for 35 hours per week
Overtime:1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Responsibilities
- Providing ongoing training to staff to maintain a high standard of service and safety.
- Handling customer complaints and addressing any issues that arise in the operation.
- Responsible for hiring, training, and scheduling staff, including servers, kitchen assistants, and other food service staff.
- Ensuring that food is prepared, stored, and served in compliance with safety and quality standards is a key role. This involves monitoring food preparation and sanitation procedures.
- Often interact with customers, taking orders, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Prepare and submit regular reports.
- They oversee the ordering and management of food and supplies and ensure adequate stock.
- Providing leadership and guidance to staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- May be responsible for managing the budget, controlling costs, and ensuring profitability.
- Ensuring that the establishment complies with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Overseeing daily operations, managing shifts, and coordinating staff tasks.
- Maintaining records related to sales, inventory, and staff performance.
Eligibility Requirements:
- A high school graduation certificate or equivalent is typically the minimum educational requirement.
- Previous experience of 2 to 3 years in the food service industry is required.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations pertaining to the food service industry is important to ensure compliance.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills are essential for interacting with customers and addressing their needs and concerns.
- Effective communication skills are vital for coordinating with staff, addressing issues, and liaising with management.
- The role may require the ability to handle customer complaints and resolve operational issues.
