Job description:
Location: Markham, ON L3P 3A6
Salary: $23.10 hourly for 35 hours per week
Overtime:1.5 times gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Responsibilities
- Supervising, hiring, and leading the staff members, ensuring they are well-trained and motivated.
- Assisting customers with inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing excellent service to enhance the customer experience.
- Overseeing product inventory and ensuring that related items are well-stocked.
- Creating work schedules, assigning tasks, and managing employee shifts to ensure coverage during peak hours.
- Providing training to staff on customer service, product knowledge, and safety protocols.
- Conducting performance reviews, preparing reports, and giving feedback to team members to improve their skills and performance.
- Ensuring that the store complies with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Implementing and monitoring sales and promotional strategies to boost revenue.
- Preparing reports on sales, customer feedback, and inventory levels.
Eligibility Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is the minimum educational requirement.
- Previous experience of 2 to 3 years in customer service or retail is required.
- Strong leadership and management skills are essential. This includes the ability to lead a team, delegate tasks, and motivate staff.
- Excellent customer service skills, including effective English communication and problem-solving abilities, are vital for this role.
- The ability to manage inventory, schedules, and various tasks efficiently is important.
- Skills to handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and satisfactory manner.
- Retail environments can be fast-paced and subject to changing demands, so adaptability and flexibility are valued traits.
