Job description:

Duties
- Supervise and care for children in own or employer’s residence
- Bathe, dress and feed children
- Plan, prepare and serve meals for children in addition to performing other housekeeping duties
- Oversee children’s activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed by the employer
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Instruct children in personal hygiene
- Tend to the emotional well-being of children and support their social development
- Organise and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings
- Take children to and from school and appointments
- Keep records of daily activities and health information concerning each child (if applicable)
Skills Requirements
- Having the relevant experience in child care or household management
- Demonstrating the ability to perform work
- Training in first aid
Language: English
Terms of employment & Wage: $ 16.75 hour for fulltime 40 hours per week. Day, Flexible Hours.
Education
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
or equivalent experience
Experience: 2years minimum
Children's Ages
School age 9 and 10, 15 years
Additional Skills
Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
