Role Description/Job Duties:

  1. Develop and execute an innovation strategy; Create and implement a clear vision and strategy for identifying and investing in innovative startups and technologies.
  2. Identify investment opportunities; Scout for promising startups and disruptive technologies that align with the business investment thesis. Conduct thorough market research and due digilence to evaluate potential investment opportunities.
  3. Conduct technology and market analysis; Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and market dynamics. Analyze the potential impact and scalability of innovative solutions in various sectors.
  4. Mitigate risks and maximize returns; Access the risks associated with investments and develop strategies for risk management.
  5. Foster relationships with entrepreneurs: Build networks and establish relationships with founders, entrepreneurs, and other key stakeholders to identify investment opportunities and gain insights into cutting-edge technologies.
  6. Offer strategic guidance to portfolio companies: Provide guidance and mentorship to portfolio companies, assisting then with strategic planning, product development, market positioning, and scaling up their operations.
  7. Monitor and manage the portfolio: Oversee the performance and progress of invested companies. Conduct regular reviews, track key performance indicators, and offer support to ensure portfolio companies are on track to achieve their goals.
  8. Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs
  9. Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
  10. Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning
  11. Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs
  12. Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions
  13. Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions



Qualifications, Knowledge And Experience

  • Language: English is required
  • Master or Doctor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Technology.
  • MBA or EMBA is preferred.
  • 10-15 years' experience in IT, technology, business, marketing, or finance-related fields.
  • Expertise in data mining on open source data, with convex optimization based machine learning, to process the data from open sources, and finding results with high probability.
  • Expertise in reinforcement Learning on data verification, with a sequential timeline and open source data obtained, to verify the authenticity of new data input from both public sources and private sources.
  • An understanding of High-Tech concepts such as blockchain, AI, machine learning, and cognitive computing.
  • Adaptive thinking and a strong, critical mindset.
  • Strong business acumen and presentation skills.
  • Highly proficient at project planning, budgeting, and oversight.
  • Forward-thinking and adaptable to dynamic situations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
