Cambridge Landscaping & Construction Ltd.

We are currently searching for two experienced Stone Setters.

Work Location:

Various locations in the GTA and Mississauga

Duties:

• Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, stone, structural tiles, and similar materials to construct or repair walls, foundations, and other structures in the residential construction
• Lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to provide veneer facing to walls or other surfaces
• Construct and install prefabricated masonry units
• Build patios, garden walls and other decorative installations
• Cut and trim bricks and concretes blocks to specification using hand and power tools

Applicants must be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge in preparing and laying bricks, concrete blocks, and structural tiles.

You will be required to train apprentices.

Work Setting: Construction

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, handling heavy loads, Standing for extended periods Bending, crouching, kneeling.

Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Safety equipment/gear, Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Gloves, Safety glasses/googles

Requirements:

• Over three years of work experience
• Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
• Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages

Terms of Employment:

Permanent Position/40 hours per week

Hours of Work:

From Monday to Friday 

The shift is from 7 am to 3 pm

English

Salary:

CAD$ 39.30  per hour  according to the LiUNA local 183
