- Job title: cleaning man/woman
- Full-time permanent.
- Work hours: Monday-Friday, 35 hours/week
- Wage: $17.50/hour
- Work Location: 4028, 918-16AVE NW, Calgary, AB T2M 0K3
- Language: English
- Vacation: 2 weeks of paid vacation per annum or remuneration of 4% of gross salary
Job responsibility:
- Understands and follows all health and safety policies and procedures. Works safely to reduce the risk of injury to kids, staff members.
- Are detail-oriented, energetic, and reliable.
- Work well in teams of other employees without direct supervision.
- Cleans and disinfects all common areas including classroom, dining room, bathrooms, activity areas, offices, hallways and car or bus inside as directed.
- Cleans and disinfects telephone, furniture, kitchen and washroom fixtures, walls, ceilings, lights, vents, mirrors and windows.
- Vacuum and clean/shampoo carpeted areas or inside of cars or bus.
- Performs cleaning duties according to established procedures.
- Empties and cleans all waste containers and transports garbage to designated area.
- Maintains utility and store rooms in a tidy and sanitary condition. May restock supplies.
- Dusts furniture and equipment. Report any damaged or unusable furniture and fixtures.
- Performs laundry duties as required (sorting, washing, drying, ironing, folding and delivering clean linen and clothing).
Qualifications:
Previous cleaning, housekeeping, hotel cleaning, room attendant, residential cleaning, office cleaning or general cleaning experience are an asset however not required.
