Job Location(s): Surrey, BC, and other areas of Lower Mainland (BC) as per the company’s contracts with its clients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervisor workers on site, follow the maintenance schedule and ensure quality control.
- Plan and estimate material and labour requirements for individual contracts.
- Oversee and assist in the planting, trimming, and maintaining of all ornamental trees, shrubs, flowers, lawns, and hardscape features.
- Assign duties to the workers and supervise their finished jobs.
- Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate with landscaping teams.
- Resolve any work-related issues.
- Evaluate and report on employee performance.
- Train and mentor employees in the areas of plants, grasses, fertilizers, and regular maintenance.
- May provide snow removal services during winter.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a landscaping or horticulture supervisor including supervision of workers, providing quotes, making schedules, and providing training is required.
- Ability to communicate in English.
