Janitor

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Full time, Permanent
BENEFITS: As per Employment Standards Act; 10 days paid vacation
EXPERIENCE: No experience required, will train.
EDUCATION: No Education requirements.
WAGE RATE:22.50 per hour, 40 hours per week.

Job Duties:
- Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scarps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse.
- Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
- Empty trash cans and other waste containers
- Sweep, Mop, Scrub and wax hallways and parking areas.
- Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
- Clean and disinfect washrooms and fixtures
- May move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies.
- Ensure that security and safety measures are in place in the establishment.
Essential skills:
- 1. Candidate should be good at making independent decisions and problem solving.
