Job description:

A private household situated in Delta, British Columbia, is looking to hire a Child Caregiver for their children.

Location:  9060-112 Street, Delta, BC V4C 4X6  Canada

Position Title: Home Child Care Provider (NOC 44100)

Wage: $19.00/hour; 40 hours per week

Overtime: $28.50/hour after 40 hours per week

Vacation Pay: Remuneration 4% Gross Pay

Vacancy: 1 position available

Anticipated Date:  As soon as possible

Employment Terms:  Full time and Permanent

Job requirements:

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, Completion of a training program in child care or a related field, First Aid certificate and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training required.

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Personal Suitability: Initiative, Organized, Judgement, Flexibility, Reliability, Effective interpersonal skills,

Main Duties: Supervise and care for children in employer’s residence, Plan, prepare and serve meals for children and perform housekeeping duties, Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, Keep records of daily activities and health information and support their social development, Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Tend to emotional well-being of children, Oversee child’s activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed by parents, Provide age appropriate educational training through organized activities such as fames, crafts, reading and outings.
