Responsibilities

• Perform hydrostatic testing of boilers, troubleshooting and repair of burners.
• Evaluate basic boiler room systems, gather information and help solve problems.
• Installing, calibrating and controls utilizing the latest in calibration instruments.
• Troubleshoots malfunctions in boiler systems.
• Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work.
• Determines needed repairs on boilers and related parts.
• Repairs leaking boiler tubes by re-rolling, re-tubing, or beading.
• Checks fluid distribution systems for leaks, repairs, or replacement.
• Perform compression and safety tests, clean pressure vessels.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and replace worn parts as required.
• Conforms to safety standards, as prescribed.
• Performs other tasks related to the position, as assigned.
