Location: Kitchener, ON N2P 2E9

Salary: $48.50 per hour for 30 hours per week

Number of vacancies: 1

Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours

Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Type: Permanent employment

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure good supply chain, product sourcing, vendor management and quality management.
  • Prepare, manage and lead sales in budgeting and forecasts and manage the Profit & Loss to create the most value.
  • Develop, lead and execute strategies for sourcing and supplier management.
  • Effectively recruiting and managing employees, overseeing operations, handling customer complaints, and generating financial reports.
  • Select, train and manage the vendors or contractors for quality control.
  • Conducting regular, daily, weekly and monthly inspections of employee performances, visiting branches, preparing evaluation reports and submitting to senior management.
  • Conduct weekly/monthly routine meetings to ensure that team is acquainted with management policies and procedures, restaurant standards and policies and to motivate to achieve the sales target and according to established guidelines, procedures and policies of the Company.
  • Oversee operational activities and coordinate with other branch offices of organization.
  • Overseeing the financial statistical data to ensure the optimum utilization of resources and generation of revenue.
  • Continuously improving operational processes and workflows, often leveraging technology and data-driven insights.

 

Eligibility Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, Hospitality management, or a related field is typically required
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the service industry, and hospitality industry including its trends, regulations, and operational practices, are essential.
  • Previous experience in a similar role with a minimum of 5 years.
  • Strong leadership qualities and the ability to effectively manage teams, motivate employees, and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Leading and supervising cross-functional teams is beneficial.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written are necessary.
