Location: Mississauga, ON, L5T 2M9

Salary: $29.55 per hour for 35 hours per week

Number of vacancies: 1

Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours

Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Type: Permanent employment

 Job Responsibilities:

  1. Accurately recording and organizing financial transactions, including income, expenses, and other financial activities.
  2. Entering financial data into accounting software or ledger books, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  3. Managing and processing bills, invoices, and payments to suppliers and vendors.
  4. Handling customer invoices, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
  5. Balancing and reconciling bank statements to ensure they align with financial records.
  6. Preparing and generating financial reports, such as income statements and balance sheets, to help with decision-making.
  7. Assisting in preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  8. Calculating and disbursing employee salaries, taxes, and deductions accurately and on time.
  9. Conducting basic financial analysis to help businesses make informed financial decisions.

 Eligibility Requirements:

  1. A high school diploma or equivalent is typically the minimum educational requirement.
  2. Require 2 to 3 years of previous bookkeeping experience.
  3. One should have strong math and organizational skills.
  4. Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheet programs is required.
  5. Expertise in working with Tax Prep and QuickBooks is highly valued.
  6. Attention to detail is crucial in bookkeeping.
  7. The capacity to analyse financial data and identify discrepancies or irregularities.
  8. Efficient time management to meet deadlines and handle multiple financial tasks.
