Bollman Roofing and Sheet Metal is a full-service commercial roofing contractor. We have been proudly serving Vancouver and the Lower Mainland for over 50 years. As a member of the Roofing Contractors Association of British Columbia (RCABC), we offer reliable and proven roofing materials and systems installed by Skilled roofing technicians who are supervised by our Professional management team.
We are looking for a full-time and permanent Roofer to assist with our growing business.
Salary: C$40.00 per hour (30-40hrs/week) with 4% paid vacation.Overtime will be calculated after 40hrs.
Work location: Various Locations throughout Lower Mainland BC.

Job requirement:
- Completion of secondary school.
- Previous work experience is an asset.
- Completion of a two- to three-year apprenticeship program is an asset.
Responsibilities:
- Transport and load/unload roofing materials
- Replace, install, and lay new roofing materials such as asphalt-saturated felts, hot asphalt, shingles, gravel, and wood.
- Inspect roofs for damage and perform any needed repairs.
- Using waterproof material such as plastics, elastomeric and asphaltic compositions to install or repair a two-ply roofing system.
- Do torch on roofing to make sure a roof is resistant to ultraviolet light and a waterproof barrier.
- Apply foams and isolation on the roof.
- Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or masonry surfaces below or above ground level.
- Spray the protection layer on roofs and buildings to protect them from water and weather.
- Install sheet metal flashings on roofs and insulation materials underneath roofs.
- Clean rooftops by removing leaves, ice, and other debris.
- Set up scaffolding safely for roof access.
- Use hand tools such as hammers, electric staplers, electric spraying tools, and other equipment for roof (flat and slopped) installation.
- May do the estimation of materials required and costs.
