GMC Drywall strives to deliver high-quality, reliable construction services to clients with excellent customer satisfaction. Currently, we are seeking 2 full-time “Siding Installers” who can join our growing team.

Position Details

Company: G M C Drywall Ltd. 

Company Location: 14655, 67B Avenue, Surrey, BC, V3S 0Z4

Position: Siding installer

Salary: $28.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-time; Permanent

Number of Positions: 2

Expected start date: As soon as possible.

Work locations: Various locations in Surrey (BC) and other areas of Lower Mainland (BC) as per the company’s contracts with its clients.

Job Duties

• Read blueprints or work order specifications.
• Determine layout and installation procedures.
• Measure, and mark guidelines to be used for installations.
• Erect and install scaffolding or other working platforms.
• Prepare underlying surfaces for installation and perform minor repairs if needed for better installation lifetime.
• Install siding as per specifications and schematics for buildings using hand and power tools.
• Cut and trim materials to shape when fitting siding around windows or corners, using a knife, shears, or portable power saw.

Position Requirements

• Completion of Secondary school would be considered an asset but not mandatory.
• Minimum 6 months of installation work experience in a similar field is required.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
