Job Description: As a Floor Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and care of various types of flooring in our facilities. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Cleaning, scrubbing, and polishing floors using appropriate equipment and chemicals.
- Stripping, waxing, and buffing floors to maintain their appearance and safety.
- Operating floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums.
- Inspecting and maintaining floor care equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Following all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in floor care or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
