Position Title: Nanny
Number of Children to Care For: 4 children, aged 5, 8, 10, and 12

Job Duties:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing full-time care and supervision of the children in the employer’s residence. Responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and caring for children in the employer’s home
  • Assisting children with personal hygiene and dressing
  • Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks
  • Assisting with school homework and organizing age-appropriate educational and recreational activities
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment in the home
  • Performing light housekeeping duties, including laundry, tidying children’s rooms, and cleaning common areas
  • Accompanying the family on trips and providing child supervision and support during travel

Terms of Employment:

  • Permanent, full-time position
  • Minimum 30 hours per week
  • Schedule may include mornings, days, evenings, and overtime as required
  • Wages: $32.96 per hour
  • Public transportation is available
  • Job must be performed on-site; remote work is not permitted

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Completion of secondary (high school) education
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required
  • Ability to handle multiple children

Language of Work:

  • English or French

Other Requirements and Conditions:

  • Valid First Aid certification required
  • Criminal record check will be required
  • Vulnerable sector check
  • Other conditions: Live in/Live out is considered & is optional (this is NOT a condition of employment); staff accommodation available; optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis (this is NOT a condition of employment)
  • Relocation costs, if applicable, will be covered by the employer
