TERMS/CONDITIONS:
- Salary: $20.00 per hour, 30-35 hours per week.
- Work Site Environment: Non-smoking, Scent-free.
- Work Location: 132 Peshawar Ave, Markham, ON L3R 0W8.
JOB DUTIES:
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks tailored to the children’s nutritional needs.
- Organize and oversee educational games, learning sessions, and recreational activities.
- Foster respectful and constructive interactions with both children and their parents.
- Support children's emotional growth, social skills, empathy, and personal development.
- Implement appropriate disciplinary approaches in line with parental guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and current records of each child’s growth, daily routines, and preferences.
- Escort children to and from school or scheduled appointments as needed.
- Perform additional light housekeeping tasks when necessary.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in the same field and/or previous full-time training in the field will be an asset.
- First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate will be an asset.
- Completion of secondary (high) school education is required.
- Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.
- Must be reliable, honest, friendly and patient.
