Experience:
5 years or more in hairstyling or barbering
Managerial experience preferred
Work Location:
On-site only (work must be completed at the physical location; no remote work option)

Barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio

Responsibilities:
Advise clients on beauty care treatments and hairstyles
Analyze hair and scalp condition for appropriate care
Book client appointments
Cut and trim hair according to client instructions and preferences
Provide custom hair and scalp treatments
Shampoo clients’ hair
Shave and trim beards and mustaches
Provide hair treatments such as waving, straightening, tinting, and scalp conditioning massages
Supervise hair stylists, other staff, and apprentices/students in training (3-4 people)
Apply bleach, tints, dyes, rinses for coloring, frosting, or streaking hair
Clean and style wigs and hairpieces
Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair
Suggest hairstyles compatible with clients’ physical features and preferences
Maintain inventory and order supplies
Specialized Skills & Techniques:
Hair styling techniques including blow drying, braiding, iron waving/curling, permanents, extensions, twisting, locking, relaxing, spiking, pin curls, and roller setting
Hair coloring techniques including bleaching, dyes/tints, frosting, streaking, and highlights
Work Conditions & Physical Requirements:
Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks
Requires manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination
Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
Ability to stand for extended periods
