Builden Network and Construction Solutions Ltd. is hiring for 2 permanent positions for positions for full-time User SupportTechnicians in Williams Lake, BC.
Employment requirements:
College diploma/certificate/degree in Computer Science, NetworkAdministration, or a related field OR relevant on-the-job experiencein IT support or a related field with secondary school
While prior experience in IT support is an asset, on-the-job trainingwill be provided for candidates with a background in a similar orrelated field.
Driver's License and Background check is required.
Salary: $37.70/hour (30-40 hours per week)
Overtime: $56.55/hour for hours worked beyond 40 per week
The person should be able to perform the following job duties andresponsibilities:
• Provide advice and training to users in response to identifieddifficulties.
• Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users.
• Communicate electronically and in person with computer usersexperiencing difficulties to determine and document problemsexperienced
• Consult user guides, technical manuals and other documents toresearch and implement solutions
• Emulate or reproduce technical problems encountered by users
• Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log foruse by other technical support analysts.
• Participate in the redesign of applications and other softwareprograms or network designs
• Help other technical support workers
• Travel from one existing company to another to identify difficulties
