Job Duties
- Preparing and cooking Japanese and Thai meals and dishes listed on the menu
- Collaborating with the chefs to review the menu regularly and make recommendations for new items and ingredients
- Determining cost of food and size of food portion, and monitoring the inventory of food
- Checking and monitoring the quality of cooked products
- Overseeing kitchen operations and helpers and instructing
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Ensuring that food are met quality control standards
- Estimating ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
- Having knowledge of the culinary genres
- Cleaning and maintaining kitchen and work area and keeping hygiene and safety practices
