Kanda Sushi Our location in the central of Mississauga, Ontario. We now offering an all you can eat Asian fusion. Our location provides a modern international food tasting experience which including Japanese, Chinese, Korean and Thai. From appetizers to desserts, we have over a hundred items to choose from. For quantity control purpose, we are looking for an experienced kitchen manager to join our team. The successful candidate will lead our restaurant and staff to make sure that our guests are receiving the best tasting experience throughout their entire stay.  

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.

Terms of employment: Full-time permanent position

Salary: $16-18/hour

Responsibilities and Duties    

  • Establish kitchen and bar work schedules and procedures;
  • Actively participant in new-employee training in accordance with the restaurant Food and Beverage standard;
  • Participate in daily inventory counts, maintain records of stock and place orders to ensure the quality and quantity of the supplies;
  • Participate in weekly meetings to ensure all details of restaurant policy are implemented;
  • Train staff in job duties and safety procedures;
  • Responsible for quality control of all items served to customers;
  • Weekly report to management regarding food and labour cost, prepare budget and cost estimates;
  • In assist dealing with customer’s complaints or concerns in relate to food products;
  • Supervise in preparing and portion food and ensure food service and quality control;
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage;
  • Supervise take out and delivery orders;
  • All other duties as assigned by the Restaurant manager

Requirements:

Clear police records                              

College level of education and

Minimum 5 years related work experience, familiar with Asian cooking ingredients and dishes,  working in restaurant setting working environment.
