Nursery Labourer

Salary: 19.00 hourly

Hours: 30 to 40 per week

Terms of employment: full time/ permanent

Language: basic english

Education: no formal education is required

Job location: Kamloops, BC

Strat date: As Soon As Possible

Job Duties.

• Hand harvesting vegetables
• Mixing fertilizer
• Tie and secure plants
• Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality
• Weeding
• Spray or dust plants with insecticides and fungicides
• Assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants
• Mix and prepare soils
• Pot and re-pot plants
• Apply fertilizers
• Report signs of insect or disease damage
• Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
• Clean work area
