1. Job Details
1) Location: Markham, ON.
2) Remote work available.
3) Salary: $35.50 to $40.00 / hour (to be negotiated).

5) Terms of Employment: Permanent Employment, Full-time, 30 hours / week.

2. Job Requirements
1) Ability to communicate in English.
2) Education: Bachelor’s degree.
3) Field of Study: Public Administration, Business Administration and Management, Economics, or Business / Commerce.
4) Minimum one year to less than two years of experience in business development sector.
5) Able to understand people’s buying patterns and trends, design questionnaires, and conduct surveys.
6) Excellent problem-solving skills and strong research and strategic analysis skills.
7) High competency working with Microsoft Office applications, such as MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word.
8) Personal Suitability: accurate, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player.
9) Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: work under pressure, tight deadlines, fast-paced environment, and attention to detail.
3. Responsibilities
1) Plan development projects.
2) Conduct surveys and analyze data on the buying habits and preferences of wholesale and retail consumers.
3) Conduct comparative research on marketing strategies for industrial and commercial products.
4) Prepare reports, research papers, educational texts, or articles.
5) Conduct social or economic surveys on local, regional, or international areas to assess development of potential and future trends.
6) Review and evaluate commercial or industrial development proposals.
7) Design market research questionnaires.
8) Develop portfolio of marketing materials.
9) Evaluate customer service and store environments.
10) Design, conduct and analyze quantitative and qualitative research projects.
11) Develop feasibility studies.
12) Conduct online marketing, e-commerce, and website promotions.
13) Develop marketing strategies.
14) Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops, or symposia.
15) Develop and implement business plans.
