We will provide:

  • Minimum 37.5 hrs per week throughout your employment period

Job Duties:

  • Create and conceptualize new industrial designs for tillage disc components, leveraging proficiency in 3D software such as Solid Edge and Solidworks, ensuring the designs meet industry standards, manufacturing capabilities, and specific client requirements.
  • Oversee the Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) system to maintain comprehensive part lists, costs, and production work orders, enhancing the overall flexibility and productivity of production lines. Regularly update the system to guarantee its efficient functioning.
  • Execute reverse engineering studies on 3D-scanned tillage disc products to identify areas for refinement, ensuring the integration of innovative solutions into the manufacturing processes for enhanced cost-effectiveness and product quality.
  • Spearhead the drafting of tooling requests for quotes (RFQs), oversee the issuance of purchase orders, and manage the design of tooling and fixtures. This includes validating all designs with appropriate engineering justifications to achieve optimal quality and efficiency.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, external vendors, and engineering teams, to coordinate prototype manufacturing trials. This collaboration aims to pinpoint and enact cost and quality enhancements in parts and tooling, paving the way for a refined production process.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum one year of work experience in the same field
  • Ability to legally work in Canada
