Purchase Manager

Salary: $47.60/Hourly for 40 hours per week

Danma Kitchen cabinets Ltd. located at 718 Eaton Way, Annacis Island, Delta, BC V3M 6J9 provides services including millwork, countertops and custom-made kitchen cabinets for residential and commercial buildings. We are urgently looking for Purchase Manager to add into our team.

Job duties

• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the purchasing activities of an establishment
• Develop purchasing policies and procedures and control purchasing department budget
• Identify vendors of materials, equipment or supplies
• Evaluate cost and quality of goods or services
• Negotiate or oversee the negotiation of purchase contracts
• Participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products or substitute materials
• Review and process claims against suppliers
• Interview, hire and oversee training of staff

Job Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree or college diploma in business administration, commerce or economics is usually required
• 1-2 years of experience in related occupation is required
• Proficiency in reading/writing English.
